Our Public Roadmap

Transparency is a core principle at CloakID. In that spirit, we are sharing our public roadmap to give you insight into our current priorities and our long-term vision. This roadmap reflects our strategic plan, from validating our core technology with early adopters to building a comprehensive enterprise platform.

Please note: This is a living document. The features and timelines described here are our current focus but are subject to change based on our learnings and, most importantly, on feedback from our community.

In Technical Preview: Validating the Foundation

These features are currently live and being tested in our invite-only technical preview. This phase is dedicated to ensuring our core service is fast, reliable, and provides a superior level of protection before a wider release.

✅ Core Cloud Proxy & Fingerprint Engine

The foundational server-side service that receives your requests, fetches web content, and neutralizes trackers and fingerprinting scripts before returning a clean version to your browser.

✅ Browser Extension Client

The lightweight client that manages authentication and securely rewrites your web requests to route them through the CloakID service.

✅ CNAME Cloaking Protection

Network-level defense that resolves the true destination of a domain request, allowing us to block disguised trackers that other tools can’t see.

✅ CSS Fingerprinting Mitigation

Server-side parsing and modification of CSS files to neutralize selectors that query for unique attributes like installed fonts.

Next Up: Building for Control and Monetization

These features are in active development and represent the next major evolution of our service. The focus here is on launching our CloakID Pro tier and providing users with granular control over their digital identity.

🔄 Persistent Profile Manager

The core premium feature that will allow Pro users to create, save, and manage multiple, distinct browser fingerprint profiles to compartmentalize their online activity.

🔄 Billing Integration

The full integration with our payment partner, Billwerk+, to enable monthly and annual subscriptions for CloakID Pro.

🔄 Advanced Threat Protection

Protection against sophisticated and emerging tracking methods, such as those that use the Web Audio API for ultrasonic cross-device tracking.

Future Exploration: The Enterprise Vision

These are long-term capabilities aligned with our North Star: becoming a market-leading, policy-driven Trusted Browsing Service for organizations.

🔮 Full Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) Architecture

The evolution of our proxy into a complete RBI solution, where web sessions are executed in remote, containerized environments to fully isolate an organization’s endpoints from web-based threats.

🔮 AI-Powered Anomaly Detection

Using machine learning on anonymized, aggregated data to proactively detect and block novel fingerprinting scripts that are not yet on static blocklists.

🔮 Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) for Attestation

A forward-looking capability to allow the service to cryptographically prove that a user’s session is secure and human without revealing any underlying data about the user or their device.
